We’re delighted to announce that our d.HOLIDAY booking platform has added some exciting new features, making it easier than ever for patients and their loved ones to make holiday dialysis plans.
Patients are now able to upload and share medical documents that are required by their visiting clinic to confirm their treatment booking request via the platform. This means that treatment approval timings have the potential to be significantly reduced, since clinic staff can now review paperwork and approve the visit in less time. Anyone that still wants to submit their paperwork manuallyhas the freedom to do so.
Michaela Blomstrand, Global Director of Patient Experience and Stakeholder Management, shared her thoughts on the updated: “I am so pleased to be able to introduce this new d.HOLIDAY booking platform feature. It represents a significant improvement in our patient’s experience on the platform, by simplifying the paperwork process which is a lot of work for any traveler”.
“The safety and privacy of our patients is of utmost importance to us, which is why this feature is being introduced after months of extensive preparations to ensure data privacy”.
The medical document upload is the latest in a series of exciting upgrades taking place across the d.HOLIDAY platform; in addition to the above, additional filters have been introduced that enable visitors to sort search results by clinic name, distance, as well to filter clinics by available shifts. Michaela adds: “our work on the d.HOLIDAY will continue over the next months to ensure our patients and their families are getting the most they can out of the platform. Stay tuned for more exciting updates, coming soon!”
